“Bricks and mortar do not an institution make.” However, since these houses the paraphernalia needed to keep body and mind in the right frame, constant improvement in infrastructure is a necessary and an ongoing process. Recently, the school’s core academic and administrative areas have been wired by a fibre optic network. This is powered by state-of-the-art servers and broadband connectivity. Computers are used to teach computer science courses and as a resource for educational and administrative purposes.

Every classroom has been wired and ‘smart’ classrooms are in place to facilitate modern teaching methodologies. The school has, thus, embraced the advantages that higher technology has to offer and ensured its smooth blending in with traditional chalk and talk. This makes an emphatic statement about the school’s commitment to gearing students to navigate the information superhighway that is changing the world.

Science Laboratory

   

  

The science laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Biology are well equipped and provide necessary facilities for demonstration, experimentation and project work at various levels. The laboratory is upgraded every year.

Computer Laboratory

We are living in the Age of Computers. It is imperative, therefore, that children should be well acquainted with computers and their use in common activities of daily life. The Computer Labs are equipped with latest computers, and the curriculum is updated on a yearly basis. Each student gets a computer for practical work. The labs are also equipped with Overhead Projectors for class presentations. We have two computer labs with a total 80 computers.

Math Laboratory

Keeping  pace with the relevant changes in the CBSE curriculum the school has introduced a Well equipped Maths lab with interesting  and appealing activities. The students are motivated to explore Mathematics rather than working out mathematics.     It is a variant colourful room where students from class  III onwards are engaged in a variety of hand on learning experiences.This is a place where students can learn and explore various concepts in Mathematics through simple activities that may be related to everyday life.

Library

A few silent moments can be enjoyed and experienced in the Library with an amazing collection of Encyclopaedias, World Books, Books of Amazing Facts, as well as other fiction and non -fiction books suitable to our children’s age and interest. Journals of academic interest and leading newspapers are also subscribed.The School Library is upgraded once a year from an allotted budget. The library provides an environment to inspire interest and instill a growing appetite for books.

Medicare

The school has an adequately equipped First-Aid centre with a full time nurse.

Canteen

The school canteen is a hygienic and well-stocked facility that serves nutritious snacks and beverages at affordable prices.

The School Mosque

The school mosque is conveniently located on the second floor. The week at IEAS begins with an Assembly, wherein the students assemble together for the prayer, anthems, followed by a special presentation of values.
